YOUR LEARNING PATH

A clear route from beginner to prepared trader

Work through the stages in order. Open each lesson guide to see what to focus on and what to practise.

Beginner → Developing trader
STAGE 01

Forex Foundations

Understand what you are trading before you risk capital.

  • Currency pairs, pips and spreads
  • Bid/ask, lots and leverage
  • Sessions and order types
Lesson guide + practice

Write definitions for base/quote currency, spread, pip, lot, margin and leverage. Use a demo account to identify a pair's bid and ask prices. Do not place a live trade just to complete this exercise.

STAGE 02

Charts & Market Structure

Learn to read price action and organise your analysis.

  • Candlesticks and timeframes
  • Trend, range and swing points
  • Support/resistance and liquidity concepts
Lesson guide + practice

Mark swing highs and lows on a chart. Describe whether price is trending or ranging and identify nearby areas of interest. Write the reason for each mark instead of drawing levels without a plan.

STAGE 03

Build a Trading Model

Turn concepts into a written, testable setup.

  • Setup conditions and confirmation
  • Entry, invalidation and target
  • Backtesting and screenshots
Lesson guide + practice

Write one setup in checklist form: market condition, location, confirmation, entry trigger, stop placement, target logic and conditions that cancel the trade. Test it on historical charts and record every example, including losses.

STAGE 04

Risk Management

Protect your ability to keep learning.

  • Position sizing and stop-losses
  • Risk/reward and expected value
  • Daily/weekly loss limits
Lesson guide + practice

Calculate position size before any practice trade. Define a maximum risk per trade and a stop-trading limit in advance. Never increase risk to recover a loss, and remember that a stop-loss cannot remove all execution risk.

STAGE 05

Psychology & Discipline

Build habits that support consistent execution.

  • Fear, FOMO and revenge trading
  • Pre-trade and post-trade routines
  • Journaling decisions and emotions
Lesson guide + practice

Before a demo trade, note your emotional state and whether every rule is satisfied. Afterward, grade your execution separately from the profit or loss. A well-followed losing trade can still be a good process decision.

STAGE 06

Review & Next Steps

Use evidence to improve your process gradually.

  • Trading journal and weekly review
  • Win rate, average R and drawdown
  • Demo-to-live readiness checklist
Lesson guide + practice

Review a meaningful sample of trades. Track rule adherence, average win/loss, drawdown and recurring mistakes. Do not move to live trading or a prop-firm challenge based on a few wins; use a documented sample and a risk plan.

Important: This Academy is for education, not financial advice or a promise of trading profits. Forex and leveraged products involve substantial risk, including the loss of capital. Practise on a demo account, understand the risks, and never trade money you cannot afford to lose. Content here is a starter curriculum; lessons and resources can be expanded as the Academy develops.
